OUR STORY
At SALMONg, we promote equitable access to genetic approaches for everyone. We can help where laboratory facilities are limited and we deliver outreach events to youth in communities to engage the next generation of scientists in genetics research. We teach students (grades 9-12) and community members how to conduct polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and quantitative PCR (qPCR) to target environmental DNA (eDNA). The founders believes in maintaining a positive mindset, creating partnerships with a purpose, and always striving for significant outcomes.
